From the New York Times bestselling duo behind the Tiny T. Rex series comes an adorable pug with an indomitable spirit—and a nose for trouble!
A perfect day for Hugo begins with a stretch and a yawn . . .
There are bees for chasing—go, Hugo, go!
Puddles for splashing—squish, Hugo, squish!
And skunks for smelling—sniff, Hugo, sniff!
But look out! Oh no, Hugo!
Hugo’s adventure turns ouchie, stinky, and dirty. Does Hugo mind? NOT ONE BIT. Hugo really did have a perfect day.
Jonathan Stutzman and Jay Fleck have created an unforgettable character in Hugo. Readers won't be able to help exclaiming aloud as Hugo plays in his garden: "Go, Hugo, Go!"
"A doggone good day." – Kirkus Reviews
"VERDICT A recommended title for animal lovers and kids needing reassurance that the perfect day may not look quite perfect." – Kelcy Davis, School Library Journal
